Alpha 0.5.0


We’re continuing to work on stability and bug fixes with the release of 0.5.0.

However one important change is support for OSX has been dropped. There has been a persistent crash bug on that platform, and we do not have Apple hardware, so we simply can’t diagnose it. Hopefully in the future we can bring back OSX support, but for now we’re going to cease publishing releases for it.

Change log:

  • Fixed Lobby data getting out of sync (resulted in many game breaking bugs and crashes)
  • Fixed VR client’s button mapping wierdness (touching certain buttons causing VOIP and such)
  • Roads now use anistropic filtering, look much nicer in VR
  • Quest 2 support! These clients run better and feature shadow casting flashlights!
  • Oculus SDK upgrade, we’re now “Focus Aware”
  • Upgraded to Godot Engine 3.2.3
  • Added link to Godot’s website in main menu
  • Various minor bugs
  • Server: Fixed player count not always being reported
  • Server: More work on dedicated servers that stop reporting to the repository
